Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA), 58-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Jefferson Forest upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Cavaliers host Liberty (Bedford, VA) to clash with the Minutemen in a Seminole bout on Thursday, January 12. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Liberty lost 58-50 in their recent non-league bout against Riverheads (Staunton, VA)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole bout, on Thursday, January 12. Rustburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Bees go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 69-31 league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA).
