The Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) basketball felled the visiting Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), 72-62 in Monday's league test.
The Huskies (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Woodgrove was beaten by South Lakes (Reston, VA), 77-55, in a non-league test.
The Bolts now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Loudoun Valley for a Dulles test on Wednesday, January 11. Lightridge will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 49-29 league loss to Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-5.
