The Worthington Trojans topped the visiting Luverne Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 65-54 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) in a AAA Section 2 game, on Friday, January 13. Worthington will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
With the defeat, Luverne moves to 3-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to St. James (St. James, MN) to face the Saints in a AA Section 3 game on Friday, January 13. The Saints enter the game with a record of 4-4.
