Michigan High School Basketball - Mackinaw City trounces Wolverine

The Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Wolverine Wildcats (Wolverine, MI), 78-34 in Monday's league test.

The Comets (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Engadine (Engadine, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Engadine was trounced by Pickford (Pickford, MI), 42-16, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Boyne Falls for a Northern Lakes test on Thursday, January 12. Wolverine will encounter a Loggers squad coming off a 84-50 league loss to Alanson (Alanson, MI). The Loggers record now stands at 0-7.
