The Mainland Regional Mustangs basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Oakcrest Falcons to 42 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Cape May for a Cape/Atlantic - National contest on Wednesday, January 11. Mainland Regional will battle a Tigers team coming off a 62-32 non-league win over Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 9-0.

The Falcons (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ). The Greyhounds come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Pleasantville was routed by Absegami (Galloway, NJ), 85-77, in a non-league contest.
