Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA), 64-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host South El Monte (South El Monte, CA) to play the Eagles in a Mission Valley bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-12. South El Monte lost 48-30 in their recent league bout against Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Rosemead will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 66-36 league loss to South El Monte (South El Monte, CA).
