Kentucky High School Basketball - West Carter can't hold off Menifee County

The Menifee County Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting West Carter Comets to 46 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Menifee County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 52-44 league win over Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 15-3.

The Comets (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Magoffin County was nudged by Floyd Central (Eastern, KY), 76-61, in a non-league contest.
