Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shamokin Area thwarts Montoursville

The Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA), 60-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats go into the Heartland I test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Central Mountain notched a victory over Milton (Milton, PA), 77-47, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Midd-West for a Heartland I test on Wednesday, January 11.
