The WACO Warriors basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting New London Tigers to 64 in the Warriors league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wapello for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. WACO will meet a Indians team coming off a 67-39 league loss to Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Indians record now stands at 4-8.
The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Van Buren County was nudged by West Liberty (West Liberty, IA), 33-28, in a non-league contest.
