The Summit Hilltoppers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting New Providence Pioneers to 33 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rahway for a Union County contest on Tuesday, January 10. Summit will meet a Indians team coming off a 69-39 league loss to Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 2-5.

The Pioneers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Crusaders enter the Mountain Valley - Valley contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Johnson triumphed over Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ), 37-36, in a non-league contest.
