The Bobcats now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence County for a 4A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Sumrall will confront a Cougars team coming off a 64-58 league loss to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 8-5.

The Wildcats (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Bogue Chitto trounced West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS), 63-25, in a league battle.
