Arizona High School Basketball - Santa Cruz Valley overwhelmed by Tempe Prep

The Tempe Prep Knights basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils to 28 in the Knights league victory on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Augustine Catholic for a 2A South contest on Thursday, January 12. Tempe Prep will battle a Wolves team coming off a 59-34 league win over Sequoia Pathway Academy (Maricopa, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 9-10.

The Dust Devils (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the 2A South contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Horizon Honors triumphed over Chandler Prep (Chandler, AZ), 47-39, in a league contest.
