Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 51-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Miyamura (Gallup, NM) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Miyamura lost 40-38 in their recent non-league bout against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)

Next up, the Panthers play the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Piedra Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
