Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cumberland Gap Panthers (Cumberland Gap, TN), 69-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Alcoa upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Cumberland County (Crossville, TN) to clash with the Jets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Cumberland County lost 50-24 in their recent league bout against Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders (Gatlinburg, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Cumberland Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
