The Austintown-Fitch Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Howland Tigers to 48 in the Falcons league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Austintown-Fitch will meet a Tigers team coming off a 86-24 league win over Fuchs Mizrachi (University Heights, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.

The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals enter the All-American contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Canfield triumphed over Harding (Warren, OH), 68-35, in a non-league contest.
