The Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers (Chattanooga, TN) basketball knocked off the host Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle (Collegedale, TN), 54-34 in Monday's league test.

The Buccaneers (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Seahawks go into the Division II-A East District 2 test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Silverdale Academy went down by Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN), 35-33, in a non-league test.

The Collegedale Eagle now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame for a Division II-A East District 2 test on Thursday, January 12. Collegedale Academy will encounter a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 46-30 non-league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-8.
