In Monday's non-league outing, the Calvary Christian Lions (Old Bridge, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ), by a margin of 29-26.

The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ). The Zebra go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, New Brunswick was edged by Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ), 56-10, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Owls play the Clearview Pioneers (Mullica Hill, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 67-30 non-league win over Washington Township (Sewell, NJ).
