Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA), 40-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Miramonte upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Knights in a Diablo - Foothill bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Las Lomas lost 43-34 in their recent league bout against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) in a Diablo - Foothill bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Campolindo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Ugly Eagles come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 42-33 league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
