North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina Mustangs tops Cresset Christian Academy

January 9, 2023: Durham, NC 27712

Carolina Mustangs Mustangs (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cresset Christian Academy Eagles (Durham, NC), 60-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Carolina Mustangs upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Faith Christian won 51-29 in their recent league bout against Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Crossroads Christian Colts (Henderson, NC) in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Cresset Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Colts come into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 54-20 non-league win over United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).
