The Cleburne County Tigers basketball team (Heflin, AL), was nudged 39-32 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL)
The Volunteers now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horseshoe Bend for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Central of Clay County will confront a Generals team coming off a 43-26 league win over Reeltown (Notasulga, AL). The Generals record now stands at 2-4.
The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ranburne (Ranburne, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 16-5 record.
