Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC), 57-5 in a league bout.

With the win, Pinnacle Classical Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Ironmen go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Cherryville lost 43-29 in their recent league bout against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) in a Western Piedmont bout, on Friday, January 13. Community Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 53-29 non-league win over Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC).
