In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Countryside Christian Minutemen basketball squad scored a close 37-34 victory over the Dixie County Bears.

With the victory, Countryside Christian improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Meadowbrook Academy (Ocala, FL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Meadowbrook Academy won 38-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Jordan Christian Prep (Auburndale, FL)

Next up, the Bears confront the Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Dixie County will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Hamilton County (Jasper, FL).
