Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), 71-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodridge upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Norton (Norton, OH) to play the Panthers in a Metro bout on Thursday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Norton lost 49-42 in their recent league bout against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH) in a Metro bout, on Thursday, January 12. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 68-41 league loss to Field (Mogadore, OH).
