With the win, Hazleton Area upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Cougars host Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to clash with the in a Wyoming Valley 3 bout on Thursday, January 12. The go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wilkes-Barre won 61-19 in their recent non-league bout against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)

Next up, the Comets clash with the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Crestwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 47-37 league loss to Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA).
