In Monday's league outing, the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks (Escondido, CA) basketball squad felled the visiting Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), by a margin of 30-14.

The Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Rock Academy (San Diego, CA). The Warriors go into the Ocean outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Rock Academy thwarted The Cambridge School (San Diego, CA), 23-22, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Del Lago Academy for a Ocean outing on Wednesday, January 11. Foothills Christian will clash with a Firebirds squad coming off a 51-20 league win over Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA). The Firebirds record now stands at 7-3.
