Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN), 84-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Stillwater upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Ponies host East Ridge (Woodbury, MN) to play the Raptors in a AAAA Section 4 bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Raptors come into the bout with a record of 10-4. East Ridge won 68-58 in their recent non-league bout against Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN)

Next up, the Rangers play the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Forest Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 66-44 non-league win over Irondale (New Brighton, MN).
