With the victory, Union County improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Gibbs won 48-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Washburn (Washburn, TN)

Next up, the Indians confront the Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Hancock County will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
