The Salmon River Savages (Riggins, ID) basketball crushed the host Highland Huskies (Craigmont, ID), 48-15 in Monday's non-league test.
The Savages (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Council (Council, ID). The Lumberjacks go into the 1A Long Pin test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Council was trounced by McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID), 67-49, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host St. John Bosco Academy for a Freelance test on Thursday, January 12. Highland will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 49-17 league loss to Deary (Deary, ID). The Patriots record now stands at 0-6.
