Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hinsdale Adventist Academy Hurricanes (Hinsdale, IL), 52-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southland College Prep upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The travel to Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 3-13. Thornridge lost 57-27 in their recent league bout against Thornwood (South Holland, IL)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL) in a Metro Prep bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Hinsdale Adventist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 27-26 league loss to Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL).
