Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME), 60-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hodgdon upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Hawks host Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME) to clash with the Warriors in a C North bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Fort Kent won 55-33 in their recent league bout against Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME) in a D North bout, on Thursday, January 12. Katahdin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 56-46 league loss to Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME).
