The Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics basketball team (Newfolden, MN), was nudged 62-59 in Monday's league battle with the host Kittson Central/Lancaster Bearcats (Hallock, MN)
The Bearcats now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Badger/Greenbush-Middle River for a A Section 8 battle on Thursday, January 26.
The Nordics (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Red Lake Falls (Red Lake Falls, MN). The Eagles come into the A Section 8 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Red Lake Falls edged Red Lake County Central (Oklee, MN), 66-50, in a league battle.
