The West St. Mary Wolfpack basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Loreauville Tigers to 10 in the Wolfpack league triumph on Monday.
The Wolfpack now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westgate for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. West St. Mary will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-42 non-league loss to St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
The Tigers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA). The Panthers enter the 2A District 8 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Delcambre triumphed over Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), 36-26, in a league contest.
