West Virginia High School Basketball - Ripley routs Nitro

January 9, 2023: Ripley, WV 25271

In Monday's league outing, the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), by a margin of 62-37.

The Vikings (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, North Marion smashed Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 79-69, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Wayne for a Cardinal outing on Thursday, January 12. Nitro will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 41-26 non-league win over Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-0.
