Park Hill South Panthers (Riverside, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Staley Falcons (Kansas City, MO), 61-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Park Hill South upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Liberty (Liberty, MO) to play the Blue Jays in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Liberty won 54-47 in their recent league bout against Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO)

Next up, the Falcons play the Blue Springs South Jaguars (Blue Springs, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Staley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 56-22 non-league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).
