The Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Waukon Indians to 47 in the Go-Hawks league victory on Monday.

The Go-Hawks now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denver for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Waverly-Shell Rock will play a Cyclones squad coming off a 60-56 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-5.

Next up, the Indians play the Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) in a Northeast Iowa bout, on Friday, January 13. Waukon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 61-46 league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA).
