Virginia High School Basketball - South County topped by West Springfield

The West Springfield Spartans basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting South County Stallions to 28 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Potomac for a contest on Thursday, January 12. West Springfield will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 55-21 league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-1.
