North Carolina High School Basketball - Albemarle School can't hold off Ridgecroft

The Albemarle School Colts basketball team (Elizabeth City, NC), was nudged 42-35 in Monday's league battle with the host Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC)

The Rams now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pungo Christian Academy for a battle on Tuesday, January 17. Ridgecroft will battle a Raiders team coming off a 36-20 league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 4-6.

The Colts (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, First Flight was nudged by Holmes (Edenton, NC), 56-27, in a non-league battle.
