Florida High School Basketball - Union County holds off Branford

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) and the host Branford Buccaneers (Branford, FL), saw Union County's basketball squad hold off Branford by a tally of 41-34.

With the victory, Union County improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Fightin' Tigers host Dixie County (Cross City, FL) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Bell Bulldogs (Bell, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Branford will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 72-31 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, FL).
