With the victory, Chatham improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to play the Generals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Patrick County will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
