Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elida Tigers (Elida, NM), 56-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Texico upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
Next up, the Tigers play the Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Elida will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 38-19 non-league win over San Jon (San Jon, NM).
