Alabama High School Basketball - Grace Classical Christian Academy can't hold off Mt. Pleasant Christian

The Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Grace Classical Christian Academy Highlanders to 34 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Mt. Pleasant Christian will battle a Stallions team coming off a 42-27 league loss to Providence Classical (Huntsville, AL). The Stallions record now stands at 11-4.

The Highlanders (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian (Oxford, AL). The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian nudged Grace Classical Christian Academy (Albertville, AL), 38-36, in a league contest.
