Virginia High School Basketball - Peninsula Catholic overwhelmed by Nansemond-Suffolk Academy

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Peninsula Catholic Knights to 30 in the Saints league victory on Monday.

The Saints now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlantic Shores Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 48-39 league win over Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 4-4.

The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors come into the contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Norfolk Christian was routed by Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 53-51, in a league contest.
