In Tuesday's league outing, the Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX), by a margin of 58-36.
The Bobcats (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region I District 2 outing with a 17-2 record. In their last outing, Shallowater smashed Liberty (Lubbock, TX), 78-51, in a league outing.
The Antelopes now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a 3A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, January 12. Abernathy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 65-44 league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
