With the victory, Big Bear improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to University Prep (Victorville, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Cross Valley challenge on Friday, January 12. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-12. University Prep lost 68-41 in their recent league challenge against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 78-57 league win over Excelsior Charter (Victorville, CA).
