Wildorado Mustangs (Wildorado, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Adrian Matadors (Adrian, TX), 85-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Wildorado upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Channing (Channing, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, January 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Channing lost 68-18 in their recent league bout against Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX)

Next up, the Matadors play the Hartley Tigers (Hartley, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, January 12. Adrian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 66-56 league loss to Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX).
