The Alpena Leopards basketball team (Alpena, AR), was routed 65-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR)
The Eagles now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingston for a 1A Region 1 East battle on Thursday, January 11. Omaha will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 84-34 league win over Mount Judea (Mount Judea, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 17-6.
The Leopards (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR). The Tigers come into the 1A Region 1 East battle with a 8-18 record. In their last battle, Lead Hill was routed by Izard County (Brockwell, AR), 51-22, in a non-league battle.
