The Alsea Wolverines basketball team (Alsea, OR), was overwhelmed 60-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR)
The Sailors now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triangle Lake for a 1A Mountain West battle on Thursday, January 11. Mapleton will confront a Lakers team coming off a 66-40 league win over Mohawk (Marcola, OR). The Lakers record now stands at 3-3.
The Wolverines (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Mohawk (Marcola, OR). The Mustangs come into the 1A Mountain West battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Mohawk was overwhelmed by Crow (Eugene, OR), 54-17, in a league battle.
