In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Andress Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 76-35 triumph over the Horizon Scorpions.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 match, on Friday, January 12. Andress will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Silver Foxes enter the match with a 3-17 record after their 58-37 non-league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
With the defeat, Horizon moves to 7-12 on the year. The Scorpions host Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to meet the Indians in a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, January 12. The Indians enter the match with a record of 11-8. Ysleta won 49-46 in their recent non-league match against Burges (El Paso, TX)
