Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA), 69-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Antioch upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a Bay Valley bout on Friday, January 12. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Liberty won 76-36 in their recent league bout against Freedom (Oakley, CA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) in a Bay Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 81-36 league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA).
