East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, AL), 79-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, East Limestone upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Madison Academy (Madison, AL) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Area 16 bout on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 18-4. Madison Academy won 44-31 in their recent non-league bout against Athens (Athens, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Ider Hornets (Ider, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Ardmore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 92-41 league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL).
